Have you experienced a type of loss and felt:
-
Overwhelmed
-
Anxious
-
Confused
-
Angry
-
Isolated
-
Like no one understands?
If so, I am here to help you navigate and normalize these feelings. I hope to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen and heard. Where you can begin to take off all the different masks you may be wearing and focus on what helps you cope. My therapeutic goal is not to fix your pain but help you learn how to incorporate it into life that is ongoing.
Grief is a Journey
We are all impacted by loss during our lifetime and yet it is something that we rarely talk about as a society. Grief is a normal response to any loss whether you're struggling with the loss of a loved one, a job, a relationship, or any other significant life change. It has no timeline, easy fix, or specific set of instructions for healing. I believe grief is not pathological, or a problem that needs to be "fixed" or "gotten over." Grief is a journey that is unique to everyone. My approach is to help you identify how grief shows up and impacts your life while providing coping skills that allow you to incorporate grief into your ongoing story.
